What is Tales2go?

Tales2go is a streaming audiobook service used by many homeschool families which provides instant, unlimited and simultaneous access to over 5,000 audiobook titles from leading publishers to play on any desktop, laptop and most mobile devices (not Kindles). The catalog grows each month, spans fiction and nonfiction, Pre K through high school and includes books, songs, historic speeches, meditation sounds, and Spanish language titles. All of Tales2go’s titles are professionally narrated, ranging from BoxCar Children Mysteries, Beauty and the Beast, Nancy Drew, Heidi, Black Beauty and many more.

What does an annual subscription cost?

Tales2go offers members of participating homeschool groups an opportunity to purchase an annual subscription for USD $25 which includes 2 licenses. What is a license good for?

A license can be used on one device at a time, and can be moved from one device to another as needed. To change devices, simply use the Login/Logout function within the app to transfer the license from one device to another.

Can I try it, before buying it?

Yes, anyone can initiate a free 30-day trial of Tales2go. Your credit card will not be automatically charged at the end of the free trial.

How do I purchase a subscription?

  1. Visit the group buy page on the Tales2go website. Enter the promotion code your group was provided and click submit. Note the code is case sensitive.
  2. Choose the number of licenses you’d like to purchase (up to 5).
  3. Enter your name and email address. Please be sure to use the same email address when activating your Tales2go account.
  4. Click Subscribe to check out with PayPal using a major credit card. All sales are final.

How do I activate my subscripton?

Once your purchase is complete, a confirmation email will be sent to you with login instructions. If you do not receive the email, please check your spam filter.

If you have not already created and logged into your Tales2go account, please visit Tales2o's website or download the app for free from either the Apple App or Google Play stores.  If you search for the Tales2go app on an iPad, please be sure to look under 'iPhone Apps' as the default setting is iPad only apps. Once you download and launch the app or bookmark our desktop player, please login.

Logging your device into Tales2go:

If you are logging into Tales2go for the first time, login as an INDIVIDUAL and make sure to use the email address you used when purchasing a subscription.

You will then be asked to provide a password of your choosing. If you do not use the email address when creating your Tales2go account, Tales2go will not know it's you, or that you've purchased an annual license.

A the end of your annual subscription period, your subscription will simply expire; your credit card will not be automatically charged.

Can I buy additional licenses?

Individuals are free to make multiple purchases during a promotion in order to increase their license count, but will need to wait up to two business days for their account to update.

How does Tales2go work on a desktop or laptop?

Tales2go requires the use of persistent cookies to remember a subscriber on a desktop or laptop. Please know, if your computer automatically or manually deletes cookies, you will likely have trouble logging back into Tales2go. Please change your cookie settings to allow Tales2go cookies.

Can I use Tales2go on an iPad?

Yes. When searching for the Tales2go app on an iPad, be sure to select iPhone Only apps on the 'pull-down' tab at the top left corner (below). The default setting is iPad Only apps.
